We are proud to say that at every level of our business, from frontline agents to the board of directors, the majority of our team identifies as a woman or person of color. The Oportun team reflects a diverse set of backgrounds, beliefs, and identities and embraces a culture of inclusion where team members are valued, respected, and belong.

This diversity of thought and experience has served us extraordinarily well, however, we recognize the need to improve upon the baseline we have already established. We are committed to meaningful increases in the representation of Black and African Americans at all levels of the company. In addition, we intend to raise the participation of Black, African American, and Latinx in technology roles, along with the number of women in leadership and technology roles by the end of 2025.
